| What do you do when she wakes up? I only ask as i have found if lily wakes in the night she is far worse to get back to sleep if she sees us! TBH we tend to leave her for a short time without going in at all and so far this is working (fingers crossed!) |

| one of us normaly get up and sit her/lay her down as she gets caught up in her sleepoing bag n cant lay down again (she stands up in her cot) but we dont talk to her...
we leave her for a bit.. n let her cry it out.. after about half a hour if she still going mad we turn on some bed time music if its not been turned on already. that will calm her for a bit n then she will get bored n start again..
last night we went in there made sure she was okay, wasnt wet or any thing. i gave her some calpol incase it was teeth.. n nothing. after a long hour fo crying (she really doesnt give in) i sent perry in there to put a extra blanket on her incase she was cold as she didnt have her sleeping bag on last night.. after that she started to be a bit quite after about 30 mins but then started up even worse.. so we took her in our bed about 4ish.. she didnt sleep until about 5.30ish (last i looked) with the odd bit of crying.. |

| You are doing everything right, I do exactly the same as you when Cerys has these nights (very rare, thank god). Just a thought, have her top middle teeth come through yet? The canines? Cerys has hers trying to pop through at the moment and she is in agony with them, just wondering if this may be disturbing her sleep? I have been told that the canines can be a bit troublesome x |

| ooo its difficult to know what to do isnt it. Do you think she'd be any better if she was not in a sleeping bag? Suppose it might be worth a go. I know Lily used to get tangled up in hers and get in a mood! She has had a duvet since she was about 16 mths and seemed to sleep better overall but may just be coincidence. I hope it gets better xx |

| I'd get rid of the sleeping bag.
Had the same problem for 3 weeks and needed reminding by you ladies what I needed To do. When she wakes don't go straight in. If Rowan has been sick I know as he cries differently.
Only for 10 mins no more. I made the mistake of laying with Rowan. Calmly Go in and shhhhh it's bed time and tuck her in (whilst your tucking her in you can quickly check if she is wet through ) then leave the room for 15'mins. Listen to her cries At those 15 mins is it the same or does she start to stop and then start? If so wait a bit longer as she's going. If not go in shhh again say it's night time and time to sleep and leave again and leave her for 20 mins. Increase each time but listen to how she cries is the key.
I might sound mean but I turn Rowan's monitor down so I can still hear him but so it's not so loud and will play a game on my phone as it makes the time pass easier |

| thankies guys..
Meg- nope all of them teeth are through.. she only needs her last back teeth and two on the lower jaw.. but no sign of them at all..
Kate- she gets put in her sleeping bag but after the crying and standing up we normaly take it off her to tell you the truth.. as its long keep puttin it back on every 5 mins lol.
Kelly- ill try that thankies, i dont stay in with her any more as ive learnt from the past she wont settle. but she screams non stop. last night it did sound like she was going to quit,, but she just started off again. sounded like she was scared of some thing. or like she has hurt her self. i really dont know.. its not like a moany cry.. more like ive fallen off a bed cry if you get me? |

| Yeah I get that's why I went straight in. If the cries dwindle the. Start again don't Go in as she is going.'I find if it's the same cry non stop no slowing down or breaks I go in then add 5 mins on top and listen to how he cries again
I hope that makes sense |
