Izzy learnt 2 new words this afternoon....from the TV, I didnt teach them to her in the slighest!

She learnt yoyo...and thinks that her going up and down is a yoyo

Also learnt cool...and just says it at everything.... everything is cool man

Iv heard of a few people who's toddlers could count to 3 or 4 in Spanish and had no clue how they could do it until they watched dora with them one day

Wil learns from the TV too. He knows lots of yoga poses thanks to Waybaloo or the Yoga show as we call it. He knows 'yoga' too.

He also learnt 'agadoo' from watching a DVD

hahaah we don't watch Waybuloo often cos its not on the channel we watch, but I like it..I might set it to record!

I like Waybaloo, and me and Harry do the yoga moves lol, Harry learnt how to baaaaa like Timmy the other day, he sounds just like him too lol xx

yay! waybuloo is awesome, benjamin can be asleep and he'll hear the tune and he'll turn his head and watch the show all the way through, he tigger bounces even more when the shows on too awww kids, they're so sweet (0.9% of the time ) haha

i think waybuloo has a hypnotic quality, ava pretends shes flying when it comes on. I cant wait for her to speak more, the mama and dada is getting a bit monotonous now.

Has anyone saw the advert for the timmy time bedtime bear. It sings twinkle twinkle little star like 'baa baa, baa baa, baa baa baa, baa baa baa baa, baa baa baa'. How the heck does that lull a child to sleep???

Also listening to bob the builder for hours, now that gets annoying, spuds the scarecrow voice is very annoying after a while,

Rowan learnt a load of words in one day. I put baby tv on a few weeks ago and it was just listing animals then that animal would hide it would ask you where it was then it would reappear and same the name then repeat the name and move to another animal.

It had dog, cat, pig, horse, cow, bird which he could already say but he can now say turtle, cockroll, rabbit and another I don't remember the others.

He can now also say Tesco !!! LOL and recognises a store Tesco if we go past it or lorry

I think tv is great nowadays with regard to education!

I bought some fridge magnet letters for ellie as thought it would be good for her. When I came from work yesterday it said: MY MUM IS A DICK! By bedtime it had changed to MY MUM IS A KNOB!

So I'd just like to add that fridge magnets can also be educational (for 13 year old boys)!

PMSL teenagers eh?? Harry has a got a bedtime Timmy who snores and scares the crap out of him and is very annoying lol, so he sits at the top of his wardrobe switched off!! xx

ah waybuloo rocks ! ,,,,, my OH has some issues wih some of the children on it though but hes a plank !
might try tv for getting miss to talk she still is only saying dadada and deedeedee
