As Ryan is at an international school they are having a Cultures Day on Monday. Each parent has to bring in something for the class to share for lunch from the country they are from. So, whats British and easy to do for lunch??

Well, I would eat cold bangers and mash, but maybe I just love them too much! Hmm..If it has to be cold, how about something like a ploughman's sandwich? It's a tough one if it has to be cold, On the cultures days I've done we've either rented a kitchen or put the cafeteria microwave into overdrive.. Tough for all the mums to think of something that will be ok cold - you have my sympathy!

Cucumber sandwiches? They are very British (although the children may hate you forever How about a Victoria sponge cake (very British) and easy peasy to make, cheese topped scones, cheese straws, fruity scones?
