Well the part time job fell through.
Our WTC has gone down form nearly £100 a week to £14 a week so it looks like I have to go back to work full time

Will be temporary for 6 months max, until OH's wages go back up. ATM his wages pay the bills and then we have no money left within days xx
So called up about a job I was offered a while ago to see if I can still take it. It would be weekly pay so much easier for us money wise xxx

How about just getting an Xmas job - there are normally loads of shops, etc. who are looking for staff around now to cover the Xmas/sale period, which will cover you for the next 6 months x

Aw poor you hun I hate working full time, I do at least 40 a week feel like I miss out on so much I hate it. At least its just for six months though and not a perminant thing? Are you gonna put Flick in nursery then? xx

My stepmum said she will have her for me.
OH is going to swap shifts and do early finishes so her can pick Flick up so she isn't away from mummy and daddy all day x
I said we will give her a weeks wages for having her x

Is that drop because of you returning to work, or was some of the decrease from the drop that happens when the baby turns 1?

I think the tax credits system is silly the way its calculated, we get the minimum which is £10 a week child tax credits, and only got that when my wages went down by half when i went part time.

SO I thought now with me going to college and doing a cleaning job which is loads less money (about £4k less) that we would get more but we wouldn't - it was the same
I just tested online with the figures, and if we earnt another £2k less we would get loads, like £300 a month or something, which included some childcare back.

I reckon they need to make the bands less wide, and have more rates available - because how can it be right that 2 families earning £6k different would get the same amount of credits?!
