Hello all! Wonder if you've all had as quick a month as we seem to have had?! Crazy

We're all doing well, baby girl gaining weight and settling into routine, bean is just the right balance between interested and not fussed - although we have to be careful what we tell him is "for baby" - I found a toy near baby's head one day... then the tube of lansinoh next to her head the next...

Am pretty much healed up, boobies have figured out the breastfeeding lark again, still knacks a bit but see how we go, sleeps coming together but need more; as ever! Hubby was back to work last week and I survived (hurrah) to come out the other side with me and two babies in tact. Quite the feat in itself but take into account both babies also bunged up and poorly/snotty! (That's it though, yeah? I shall have my medal now. Am pooped.)

Hope all is well in banda land?! Shall try catch up but currently getting sorted for baby boy's birthday this Friday (note to other march '09 mummies - wtf?!!!! Two year olds ahead!!!) we're going for a swim (me&pip on the sidelines, boooo) and having family over for birthday tea (when I shall have them suitable adorned with silly hats etc.) but need to pace myself with present wrapping and the like or I'll fall asleep mid sellotape

Ta muchly all ah pen you could cuddle me too, but I'll end up napping on your shoulder! It's not been an easy peasy time but - rest assured ladies considering no.2 - it's true that second baby is "easier" - maybe as you have no time for as much fretting although I'll never get used to having to leave the tiny one to sort the little one - must improve my juggling skills! Pip's upset face is sooo beautiful though, proper pet lip

It's all the more scary for having a tiny tot to compare the toddler to Lisa!! He seems so big by comparison, yet it seems like 2mins since he was the one being burped

ooo, there will be a rush of banda babies turning two this week/month methinks another friend of mine has her little one's birthday this friday along with our two Lisa! (plus she's just had 2nd baby last thu, very closely matched our conceptions it seems!! ) xx

We certainly should have one soon! I've seen Lesley, You, Jo, Mo & LisaG recently, but not seen Kate for AGES! In fact the last proper march meet we had was lunch in Chester...and that was 18 months ago maybe?

I'll start a thread in meets and put some feelers out!

Having said that, I am in the training stages of managing two little ones by myself - haven't covered "the outside world" yet - study that next semester I think (when they're about 4/6 years of age...) any ideas welcome from mummies of 2+ !!!

Tip for managing 2 out-and-about - the only way to go to the toilet yourself (e.g. at playgroup) is to strap both into the pushchair first.

You know you've had a long week when they both do poos at fri pm playgroup, you have no nappies of any size left in your changebag, then the baby does another poo before you've even got her trousers back on....

It is great fun, really!!!
