for bed? eli was having bath etc at 7pm then bed by 8pm but he is knackered by half 6 now so his bath is about 6ish and hes asleep before 7....now should i move it further back again as he isn't managing to even have a story before bed, but then bath would be 5.30pm???? seems a bit early to me......but then im thinking that when the clocks change it will be 6.30 again (still with me? ) should i try and help him hold out? he has always woken up at 4am thinking its playtime and after 20 minutes i can get him back to sleep - he often wakes now at 6am but again drifts back off fairly easily, i dont fancy getting up at 6!!!

maybe have a go with trial and error, up until about a month ago lilly was in bed by 5.30/6 as thats always been her bed time since she was a baby and she was getting up at 7.30am but now she goes to ned at 7pm and is up at 7am, see how it goes with trying a bit earlier, maybe do it gradually until he settles until a new bed time routine, sorry im not much help! xxx

Aimee has bath at 6pm and then bed at 7pm. She then normally wakes up anything between 7am and 8am. x

Isla used to be bathed around 5pm, ready for bed at about 5.45.....if I missed this time, she was a nightmare!! She actually slept longer too if she went to bed at the right time, where as if we missed it she wouldnt settle well all evening, and wake up earlier & grouchier! You know him best, but dont worry about times, some babes need more....mine always did, and still do xx

lots of hard work! well, he is still up 5+ times in the night, but it's gradually improving - he thinks it's getting up time at either 4am or 6am but a sneaky bf and he is fast asleep again mwahaha but bath is closer to 6pm now because he just can't hold on - if we leave it too late he is a terror! |
