OK so I have no idea what makes a good trike, but Izzy wants one!

I would love to get a Smart trike but seeing as she is passed the stage of using the parent controls much it seems a lot of money

Anyway have found these 2 on sale, good prices
Fisher-Price All In One Trike £29.99 (Less Than Half Price Was £79.99)
Trikes! 46-3677155SPA74UC692457M
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/3677155/Trail/searchtext%3ETRIKE.htm

or this one
Precious Trike with Parent Handle Was £69.99 HALF PRICE! £34.99
Trikes! 8609796022069632
http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Toys-R-Us/Bikes-and-Rideons/Trikes/Precious-Trike-with-Parent-Handle(0015165)

One of them has little things to rest their feet on...but at what age do they pedal? Will she need them now?

Is the parent handle easy to use (if I need to go to town etc) on the 2nd one, cos it looks different to the other one.

Thank you for any help - gotta pick one or the other up tomorrow

Aw i love the second one!
Funny u should post this actually as we were at a play centre today and they had proper trikes and i could'nt believe it when Tayla started to peddle! I would say go for one of those as it wont be long before she will be able to peddle. It was just reaching them that was the prob today she had to sit on the bar not the seat lol! (she didnt get very far either bless her!)

lol well Izzy hasn't been on one since nursery last november but they had really small ones there, and no idea if she pedalled or scooted with her feet!

I love the second one too - just dunno if that handle would work?!

I think its just so she can ride away from you, a bit like a lead Laughing For that price i would defo get it. Tayla loved her trike last year, i cant wait till its a bit warmer and use it again as she hates the buggy now.

Ah bugger it, if only you lived closer as we're selling Libby's - it's the pink and lilac smart trike - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130491725469&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

The reason we're selling ours is Libby STILL cant reach the pedals but we've tried her on a normal bike (just a little 12" one) and she can reach them alot better. Bearing in mind though Libby is a proper short arse like me - only 82cm Laughing xx
