Its Izzys birthday party on Saturday and she has a cold Snotty nose and a bit of a cough.

Obviously there are toddlers invited...and if the boot were on the other foot I wouldn't not go just cos of a cold, cos they can pick colds up anywhere!

Dan says if she isn't better we should cancel - but I don't think we should just cos of a cold.

Honestly would you be annoyed if you went to a party and the birthday child had a cold? Would you prefer to be told they had a cold and then decide or you just wouldn't mind at all?

i wouldnt cancel for a cold, babies always have cold!

Toddlers pick up colds everywhere, if there was going to be any new babies I'd let people know but I don't see why anyone would be bothered. I certainly woldn't cancel her birthday party x

The newest baby is 2 months, so I'd let her know for sure anyway. All the others are 6mth +

I wouldnt cancel either i think nearly every child has a cough or a cold at the moment. I would properly just tell mums anyway x

No i wouldnt cancel, all the kids at playgroup have still go if they have colds

i def wouldnt cancel, and i wudnt be annoyed turning up to a party where the child had cold!! evan has had cold constant for past month infact since starting nursery but im not keeping him off or anything toddlers constantly have colds!
the only reason i wud cancel it would be if she was really knocked down with the cold and lethargic but if she is her usual self with jst a runny nose and cough then def go ahead with it!
other than the 2 month old i wudnt go out of ur way to inform ppl she has cold its understandable and this time of year everyone has cold!

nope deffo not. alfie always seems as if hes got a cold. its just part of being a kid. stick with and enjoy the party! x

So far she is fine apart from going to sleep cos her nose annoys her, so is just grumpy at being tired

i wouldn't cancel but it would be nice to know! (having recently had a visit from a dear little toddler who gave us all horrible colds - two days after we got over the last lot......sigh!) so i may be a bit biased just now, but if you can give people a text and let them know that would be nice

Aww well Izzy will be in good company as Amelia has a cold too. I'm seeing how she goes but I'll be coming either way! x
