Since yesterday Harry keeps getting some yellowish gunk in the corner of his eyes, I keep getting it out with a clean cotton bud and he doesnt make a fuss, his eyes are not sore or red, it is just really weird. I keep cleaning them but it comes back after 20 mins or so and I have no idea what it is, I praying its not conjuctivitus cos that just makes me like this

Sounds like it may be hun..just the beginning of it. Or he could have a cold in his eyes. If you notice him rubbing it alot take him in to get it looked at. xxx

Well he has just had a chest infection so could it be a cold in his eyes?? What causes that?? x

umm a friends little boy had some thing like that. was put on antibs in the end. it took months to heal up they sent a sample of it to a lab in the end. it was really yellow and smelt yucky x

Colds can go to the eyes just like it goes to nose and chest. Eyes are moist and can the cold bug too...but usually natures tears keeps the bugs at bay. If his eyes are really becoming goobery..I would think it would be more pink eye which is easily treatable with Rx drops. xxx

Thanks girls, I will take him to the docs if they are no better by monday. Its not smelly its like tears but thicker and yellowish

keep cleaning it and hopefully will clear up on its own without drops.

hannahs had it a few times and only needed the drops once.
