phoned sky on 14th feb to tell them i was moving house so they arranged for my tv to be re installed and my phone line to be activated and said after phone was in to phone and they wud arrange my internet and i wud be online within 48 hours!!
so tv was put in on sunday the day after we moved which i thought was quick bt came out today to activate the phone line so when they finished i phoned sky the girl tells me a fault has happened in the system which never happens and my internet from my old house was not cancelled which means i cant get it in this house til old one is cancelled
i only moved 2 doors away so u wud think it wud be fairly straight forward
i asked how this happend and she said normally when u put on the system for a house move and arrange the engineer for tv to come out it automatically cancels the broadband and it didnt for mine
so she cancelled it today which can take up to 10 days and until that is cancelled i cant order the broadband for this house argh
my oh went nuts cos he needs to be online to make money, he phoned them back got someone else who said it was nothing to do with it not being cancelled it always takes upto 2wks for broadband to be installed which is completely different from what i was told 10mins earlier and on the day i phoned to arrange move!!
so nothing we can do we r stuck with no internet!! oh has had to go to his mates tonight prob be there half the night to play so he can try make some money cos we totally skint with this house needing fully decorated!
we bought a dongle for jst now but im not spending to much topping it up cant afford to!
