I am loving that this little haven is free from numpties, spam, Mods who think they have a capital G, schoolgirls, (+those who act like schoolgirls), annoying flash adverts and forum red-tape nonsense.
Also, the banter is good, you don't feel like a stranger if you only get a chance to pop in and out, you can swear (oo, even something strong like crap!!) and there are smilies a-plenty

well im a member of a lot of other parenting and mum forums but never really felt part of any community, but with babies and all it just feels like home to me now...

Nice one Jaffie - agree totally !! Love the banter, humour and the little community that is building up on here. Everyone is very friendly, although you do get the odd smart ass (ahem Jen ), a couple of nutters (ahem Mario and Mara ) and of course our queen Lisa

I like that if I dissapear for a few days and come back I don't feel weird and out of the loop. It has a very relaxed feel about it and I don't feel judged if I put an honest opinion that differs from the majority. I actually feel really at home and welcome here

I agree!! I feel more at 'home' here and feel I can post what ever is on my mind and someone will reply!
Everyone gets on well but are allowed to have differing opinions which is brilliant!

I love it because I was all crap and emotional today and people listened and sent me hugs!

Seriously, it's a lovely place to be and everyone is very funny and sweet!

I agree totally Jaffle. I love that I have been chatting to some of you girls for years and if I ever had a problem I know you'd all be there to offer advice and virtual hugs which just cheers me up. Even the ladies that I haven't known for that long I feel like wee been chatting forever

i love it because it's so relaxed here...on other websites you have to consider everyone elses feelings adn be aware that while you're joking...others may not take it like that...here at least alot of people know my weird sense of humour

Mainly because everyone is relaxed, no one is thinking people are up to something, and no one seems edgy or defensive.

I might not get to spend as much time here in the day though - I am going to have to get a cleaning job or something to fund me going to college...no chance I can earn what I was before but it all helps!
