sooooooooo elijah and daddy went out to visit the inlaws this morning leaving me to do what i wanted for a couple of ours (bit of a rare treat! ) and what did i do.....well naturally i arsed about on banda for a while, but i have spent the last hour and a half cleaning

ahhhh what luxury to have an empty house, so i really did the bathroom and gave the kitchen/bins/living room a good going over and then i cooked lunch

obviously they are late back so lunch is overdone, but i really enjoyed spending the morning cleaning - i remember when it was such an effort but its lovely now to really get stuck in...

have i gone insane?

Lol no my sis took c out for the day yesterday and i spent my afternoon.......brushing the hall carpet with a wooden scrubbing brush to get the cat hair out

I do exactly the same! I finish college at lunch time on a Friday & get Alfie back at 6ish. Every week i look forward to just lounging on the sofa for an afternoon but i end up doing a full clean every time! I do love it though, and how nice and shiney everything looks for a few hours

OH is always saying 'don't worry about this, that and the other, i'll do it!!' which may sound very nice, but he never does it to my standard lol
I love it when OH takes him out and I can't prep tea without running from living room to kitchen.
He took him out today and I was actually enjoying doing tae and reading a book <<< how sad eh?! Little things and that lot!!
