| Just wondered what you guys do with your older kids for bedtime? Tommy's 7 and during the week goes to bed between 8-8:30 but at the weekends it a whole other ball game, its 22:11 and he's well awake, but when i ask him to go to bed i know he'll kick up a fuss. That wont stop me tellinghim to go to bed but what time do yours go on a weekend? |

| Both my older 2 go to bed at the same time as they share a room, they are 10 and 7. Week days bedtime is 7pm and they can watch a dvd, weekends are 8-9pm as they get proper grumpy if they stay up much later!

| My 6 year old goes between 7-7.30 straight to sleep on school nights sun-thurs.. Fri and sat nights it's pretty much when I need space If he mentions he wants the tv he goes up by 9.... My 11 year old goes up at 9-9.30 and reads, I can go up at 11 and he'd still be wide awake. I do have a no tv on school nights rule |

| My daughter is 5 and goes to bed between 6 and 8. She is home schooled so days don't mean anything to her really. She rarely goes to bed after 8pm or she's not able to concentrate fully during the day on her school work. The 8pm bed times are usually Fri and Sat night with Sun - Thurs being 7pm at the latest, some nights she's goes up at 6. She loves her sleep and can easily do 6pm to 9am The most she has done was 5:30pm until 10:45 am I said to hubby that child's not normal but even as a baby she liked her sleep and was still having day time naps at 3/4 years old! At 12 weeks old she was sleeping all night until the toothey pegs hurt which disturbed her sleep from 6 months to 9 months of age and since then it has been all nighters. I just wish Drew was the same, little bugger, he hates sleeping! He has 2 lots of sleep during the day each lasting 1 hour max then at night he goes to bed at 6 and wakes up at 9 (which we sometimes ignore as he just has a wee chat to himself then settles back down, we only go up if he is properly crying), 11pm and 3am then up at 6:30 for breakfast! |
