| when you first went abroad?? and how were they on the plane? im taking alfie to spain in july and im dreading the flight. and also the heat!!! knowing my luck he will cry the whole time on the flight. we fly out at 2pm and then fly back at 5pm so the flight back might just co incide with bed time so he might sleep some of the way. its stressing me out thinking about it! x |

| Umm well we came to England when Tayla was 4months and 9months, the flight is about 5 hours and honestly i was so worked up about it but it was fine. Try and get later flights or around the time he usually naps. Take new toys and plenty of snacks, maybe even a portable dvd player! |

| Take him for walks up and down the isle and to the toilet and back, the most important thing is forgot what other people think or the dirty looks ur get (everyone who travels with kids/babies gets them!) and just do what ever makes Alfie happy! |

| Izzy was 4 months, went to France, about 2 hour flight she then went a year later so 16 months
Both times she was absolutely fine and sat on my knee, or gawped round! The only thing was on the descent she didnt like her ears popping but had a bottle of water that helped. |

| Evan was 14months we went to Bulgaria so 4 hr flight. The flight out was 9pm I jst took a bottle on with us and as soon as plane engines started he fell asleep and didn't wake until plane landed! Goin home it was afternoon and we were right at front of plane so plenty space he jst played whole time and there was a but of space for him to walk bout etc without disturbing others! As for the heat it was in the hundreds was hottest summer they had seen for 10 years and other than goin off food for the first 4/5 days ( he wud only eat baby jars) he was fine he loved it and heat didn't seem to affect him to bad I expected him to whinge, be sweaty etc but none of that it really didn't bother him except for his eating |

| We took Tyler to England (s0 5 hour flight) when he was 9 months, and just got back from a second trip at 17 months. I was worried both times but he was absolutley fine. Hes a fidget bum too and hates to be sat still but no he was pretty amazingly good! as long as you stay calm and ignore everyone else that's the best you can do. Its actually pretty noisy on an aeroplane and its only eally the people immediately around that can hear anyway. Take some of his favourite foods for the plane, we took tuna sandwiches for Tyler, raisins and wotsits. that kept him occupied for a while... also stickers were good for a bit, books etc. try and sit near the window because looking out the window distracts them a bit too. It'll be fine don't worry |
