just a quickie - are travel grobags still comfy to sleep in in bed??? they are on sale at the moment and cheaper than a normal one (still haven't gotten round to buying elijah a new one, must hurry up ) so im wondering if they are just as good? do they just have a hole where the strap goes through?

I agree with JoA - we have a couple cos they happened to be cheaper at the time and have never used them for travelling.

seems to be a little hold in the middle (sealed so not draughty) that you could pop the crotch bit of a car seat through so you can use it in the car/pram as well as the cot

Wil has them and we do use them for travelling. Wil has no problems with them.
We quite regularly travel at bedtime from my parents so Wil just gets all ready for bed at their house then sleeps in the car and I transfer him straight into bed without him waking up.
The can be a bit of a faff to get the car seat strap through the hole but that may be because Wil has his little fat bum in the way.
