Your first dance song at ur wedding and why??
what would u choose when ur time comes??

do u have songs together ??

me and my MOH was talkin bout this yesterday, she cant remember her first dance song, they never actually picked one. any one else done this ?

i have a song for pretty much everything in my life. i love music.

with my ex we had Paul Weller's 'You do something to me' it held special memories for us,

mine and my ex's was Alone by a group called heart.. my god that was years ago lol I dont have one with my oh though we dont really listen to anything that could be classed as a love song Sad

And i love her by the Beatles, we had a kind of Beatles theme to our wedding as oh loves them.

Song's we class as 'our' songs are not really first dance apropriate. Although surpose you can have anything really as its your day!

We had 9 Million Bicycles by Katie Melua for our 1st dance. We chose that song for many reasons. 1) the words. 2) the 1st ever prezzie he bought me was a Katie Melua album and I'd never heard of her before and we listened to it together and as that song came on he grinned at me and although we hadn't been long together we knew that we were going to marry each other one day.

Our other song is by INXS (can't remember the title of the song) "you were standing, I was there, 2 worlds colliding, and they can never, ever tear us apart" as that describes the 1st time we'd ever laid eyes on each other and the fact my Nan had tried to tear us apart by saying lies to him then lies to me etc... (hahahahaha her evil plan failed old hag! lol)

We also like many other songs but they really are not suitable for a wedding lol lol xxx

1st dance was - Not Enough by VanHalen because we both loved that song and it meant alot to us personally.

2nd dance was - Color of my love by Celine Dion..ya..I had to chose a wedding theme kind of song and I kinda liked that one. xxx

Well at my first wedding 16 years ago it was Wet Wet Wet love is all around.
And my second wedding we got married to Phil Collins groovy kind of love.

dont know why but it was kind of a jokey thing we had it for our ring tones etc so was a natural choice.
