| its my 30th in march and i have had such a shit time lately and wanted a good birthday as my 18th i was pregnant and i was when i was 21 too.... i went into town with a freind today and she said about going away for a few days.. abroad without kids.. now i have never done this before .. and its not going away that bothers me ..its the flying without them.. im scared to death of flying and i already mustered up the courage and booked a holiday abroad with them to tenerief in may..which im crapping my self about ..but i see it as though if the plane crashes ..at least we will be together! an di will be loaded with valium and laughing all the way down .. now my main concern is if i crash on this mini holiday they will have no mum and no one decent to look after them bring them up....am i weird!! i have had fears like this all my life and its always stopped me from having fun .. shall i just go for it!! |

| Go for it!
I am also frightened on flying and I totally feel your fears.
I actually dont think I could even consider taking Aimee on a plane at the moment. I watch too much Air Crash Investigation.

| It'll be fine, planes are incredibly safe and the odds of dying in a plane crash are 1 in around 11 million. Have you considered having some hypnotherapy before you go? I've heard it's really good for phobia's like yours. x |

| The chance of crashing in a plane is less than stuff like driving on the road...so unless you stay in the house all day every day then you wont be any more risky by flying!
Do it now before you regret missing out! |

| I hate take off as it always feels like its going to drop back down, i dnt care about landing as im to desp to get off the plane to even care I always tell myself you have a much much higher chance of a car accident or even winning the lottery! I think that to when me and luke are in the car without Tayla |

| Is it just the flight that will stress you out? Just as once you are there, if you are only worrying about the children and can't switch off... then you'll need to drink a bit more Once the flight attendants know you are nervous they should be really good with you - or if you prefer not to tell them then just make sure you have some extra money allocated to a couple of stiff bevvys on the plane (hang on, will you be taking valium again? Maybe not the best mix...!) As people said, you're odds are actually better by plane travel - and this way you can be more confident for the holiday with your kiddiwinks. Have a lovely time - kick back and celebrate - you deserve it ! x |

| Im the same hun, so scared of flying. BUt like the girls say its like such a small % and more likely to get knocked down by a bus. But I think the same, if I go then she'l have no one. I think that when I go in the car on my own somewhere. stupid really guess its all normal! you'l have a fab time em!! much deserved x x x |

| I know what you mean about flying hun, im absolutely petrified of it now. We went to Spain in 2009 and we took my sister with us and because she panicked on take off, I had a panic attack. When we flew to Egypt in July I had a horrid panic attack on take off and then coming back I wasn't too bad, but I spent the whole holiday panicking about the flight home.
We were meant to be going to Turkey at the end of this month, but as im pregnant now and still only in the first trimester we decided not to go. Im so glad as it means I dont have to fly. xx |
