if you were so skint and your children were starving and wearing old tatty ill fitting clothes and shoes

how far would you go to feed and clothe them

thats a good question. I'd ask my family first obviously.

I'd sell things i owned try and find an extra job.

I dont know if i could steal though.

i think i would steal from big shops if it came to it, and steal food for them, id also sell some of my things . like leah id never steal from people...but surely if you had no option we would all steal to clothe our kids??? x

I will be honest - if my kids were starving (properly) and needed food then I would do what it took. I would actually rather sell my body than steal tbh, as it seems a bit more honest.

I know I will never be in that situation, but I can honestly say that I would do what it took.

I don't understand the question - do you mean if you couldn't do/get a 'normal' job for whatever reason? Cos if you sell your body thats wages really

So if the question suggests that you aren't allowed to earn money then the only option is to steal!

if times were hard i wouldnt steal from from family but i would supermarkets ,, i would sell myself ( not sure who would want me though )

i have read about people ( through choice ) that raid supermarket and resteraunt bins in the evenings as so much stuff is thrown out and is still edible , so i think i would do this ,, tins/crisps/ juices etc that have gone out of date recently
not sure what happens to store return clothes ,, if they would get binned but im sure some could be fixable

When it comes to saving your kids and yourself..there are no limits. Even the most gentile of ppl will resort to killing someone to protect your own. All you have to do is refer back into any recent history of war or famine or even the stranded will do whatever it takes to survive. xxx

i'd go to my dad to be honest,

but working with families who are in this position, its alot easier to say than to do, there are also alot of charities that could help.

I don't think I'd ever be in the position that I'd have to think about this, my MIL buys Chloe enough Clothes to be able to dress the entire Banda population
