| chop all their hair off? My hair is quite long atm, half way down back. I did get it cut into a long bob when pg and it just seems to have grown so fast in the last 2 years. Im getting bored and tempted to chop it all off again in the knowledge that in 18mths or so it could be reasonably long again. Then I started thinking... there are very few women I know over about 35 with long hair. MIL does I suppose, but shoulder length is about the longest any of my mum/aunts/friends mums have theirs. I may just enjoy having long hair while I can. What age did you chop your hair off or do you think you will always have long swishy locks? |

| Do you know, I wonder this too. Loads of people like our mums, etc. have short hair. I would look like a right fatty with really short hair, so cant see me giving up my ghd's just yet. x |

| Hehe snoops, I dont think you need worry about this for a wee while
i read a thing in the paper a few weeks ago about Jen Anniston who has just had hers chopped, not sure of her age but I think she's around 40.
Anyway mine is quite long as in past my shoulders but very layery, I don't think I'm too old for this. But I hate seeing old women with grey hair that is long, or very long hair that's blunt with no layers as I think you need to be very young or very beautiful for this and also if your hair is long it should be in good condition.
I do quite often think of having a bob, but would never have proper boy short hair. |

| i always wonder this, the only 'old' person i know with long hair is my gran who is nearly 60, she has it choppy and layerd with different shades of brown through it, it actually really suits her but apart from that, grannys have short hair in general x |

| i wondered this too. their hair always looks so nice too. i always thought sorry if this offends that older women looked better with a shorter hair cut then long as long hair tends to look weak and tired when your older. |

| I had quite long hair (went down to where my bar is on my back if you know what I mean), then I got it all chopped after my wedding 4 and half years ago so I would have been 28. Since then my hair has been shoulder length with layers in and last weekend I had it chopped into a bob which sits just above my shoulder xx |

| Has mostly to do with hair thinning as well as maintaining it than anything else. My mom chopped off all her hair awhile ago as she said she couldn't be bothered with it anymore. xxx |

| i'm thinking of having mine cut off, but bobs dont suit me, i'm 35 end of the month so i'm going to have long hair for a while,
but have to say in past year i've stopped tying it back in a bobble because i think that doesnt look right with my age, but its more to do with the birds nest that sits on my head, its so fluffy cannot do a thing with it lol |

| I had very long hair then chopped it shoulder length when it dropped out after I had Izzy, then I grew it back again... and then had it chopped to my shoulders before xmas
I prefer it this length though, its easier |

| Mine is already short because it is too thick to have long and have to do in the morning for work
Nothing worse though than seeing someone with lovely long hair from the back and imagining a young pretty face then they turn round and are all wrinkly and haggard |

| I chopped mine shorter when i had Chloe and now I never let it go below shoulder length just because it's easier to maintain. i don't have time to spend ages blow drying it every day anymore. There aren't many older women who can pull of long hair, but I don't think you need to worry just yet! |
