Well as some of you may know we have got our dog back from Cyprus now.
Tayla has learnt all the 'commands' very quickly and its so cute when she talks to him, his name is Tyson but she says Tysin....'Tysin, sit, paw, down...ball, get it, get itttttt!' Haha.
Also she has learnt to shout 'Walkies'
But....shes fine with him from a distance but freaks out when he gets to close, any advise to get them bonding? Hes a brill dog and doesnt get over excited around her or jump up or anything, he backs away when she freaks out but he looks all sad and just wants to play with her!

My mother in law let her dog lick Elijah. We haven't spoken to her since. That is all

does she sit on your lap next to him? kates learnt to pat my mums dogs if shes sat on our lap and now they come up to greet her and she only shys slightly to mac because hes about the same height as her but once hes next to her she pats him n says "awww good"

Terri just take it slowly and don't push her. If anything just leave her to it and they will find their own level.

Tayla needs to go to Tyson rather than him approaching her.

They will work it out and will probably become amazingly close in time

Thanks everyone, yeah im not pushing her at all and shes done great so far as she was terrified at first. She does sit on my lap while i stroke him and goes to stroke him but backs out at the last min lol. I do hope she likes him soon i cant wait for the to be friends

Izzy and the dogs kept their distance, but now they are great!
She is always wary of new dogs though til she sees they aren't gunna knock her over and lick her!

oh you are probably quite lucky that she is wary to be honest. she will get used to him but its defo a good thing.
