| hi all i know your thoguhts are with laura and her family and i still cant believe it. i've not been sure whether to post but i need some advice/help
i'm in pain, under my bump, i can hold my bump in my hands so to speak and thats where its hurting
its hurting when i stand or sit on a chair, i slipped on stairs earlier this morning and felt fine till about an hour ago, my foot slipped down a step, i didnt fall to floor or anything,
when walking i'm having to hold my bump because its hurting that much.
bubs is moving around as normal, which is causing the pain to be worse, when he/she stretches/moves downwards
i just need to know its normal, the pain feels like everything is bruised, it could be that, but the pain is so intense its worrying me a little.
i got mw in morning anyway, do i wait and go to see her or should i call and see if i need to worry more
russ is on his way home from work and i not told him, he'd worry and drive silly to get home so what do you lovely ladies think, sorry to ask when thoughts are elsewhere, just need some reassurance and i wouldnt ask if i didnt need the help |

| Hun dont feel bad for aasking for advice, we are still here to support everyone. I would say you have probs pulled some ligaments. If you get any pains get checked out asap but sounds like you should be ok till morning. Just keep checking for little bubs kicks xxxxxxx |

| thanks ladies,
i'm going to have a bath in a bit, see if that eases the pain off and talk to mw in morning, russ is at the chip shop getting tea, so we dont have to cook, as he has flu (apparently, i thought it was a sniffle lol)
but thanks again, sometimes you just need to hear others say your ok xx |

| Oh god please dont stop asking for advice (everyone included). Were all still here to support xxx I used to get a bizarre hurty sensation under my bump too and was always told ligaments, muscles, or stretching. The only time you need worry is an intense burny pain across top of bump, but even that is normally twinned with other symptoms too. Take a load off, relax, and get some pampering going on.....maybe a foot rub?? |

| Aww I'm glad you feel a bit better, sounds like Russ is taking good care of you, you lucky thing! I had a really bad pain at the bottom side of my bump a while ago, checked with the doc at my appointment last week and she said usually pains at the lower left and right side are muscle/ligaments pains, which help me relax a bit! Could be you pulled some muscles when you slipped, especially as you didn't fall down, your muscles all probably went in a weird direction to help you balance. I hope thats all it is, and i hope it feels a lot better soon, and have a good app. with your midwife! |
