Further to my post about my dad having the heart infection, he has just called me. They are doing the treatment in hospital at the moment and have done a scan and said that it has ruined his heart and he now needs heart surgery to fix it . They need to clear the infection first, as its quite severe and are injecting the antibiotics directly into his heart six times a day.

On top of that, my friend has just text me, and her little boy, who Aimee was playing with on Wednesday, has come out in spots and she thinks its chicken pox.

Seriously, with the bad news at Aimee's scan and awful news about Laura, its been a really crappy week!

Can I try and give some optimism......my dad had a poorly heart, and after he had surgery he was a different bloke, and had 15years of fabulous heart health!!!!

Its horrible to see, but the after effects can be quite miraculous......but then again, i dont need to tell you this really, do I???
