Reading the gas & electric metre!

Every sodding time they ask me to read it, so I rummage in the cupboard and go to the website, stick the figures in etc ... and they ALWAYS send a metre reader anyway

So they can get lost this time!

hahaha they always refuse to accept the numbers i give them and send me some patronising bollocks on how to read the meter

Maybe they think my usage is way too high - cos the bill is scary!

we get someone round every few months to do it its always alot bloody storage heaters lol xx

Ooops, you just reminded me..I got the email a month or so back and I always forget.

At my old house I extended the kitchen and had to pay a lot of money to have the meters put outside. Every time I would get a card saying they came to read meters and would return on X day to do it. Like I'm going to book a day off work to have my meter read! Anyway it just annoyed me that they couldn't update their records and just look at the frikkin meter themselves, so I would just leave a note in the window saying METERS IN PASSAGEWAY

We refuse to do the electric one because it's one of those really old fashioned ones with the dials (apparantly we're not due a change until 2016 ). We attempted it when we first bought the place and got it wrong so just dont do it anymore xx

we did ours last monday, had bloke come on the tuesday.....

i hate having strangers in the house, especially at moment, because i not getting dressed until i really have too lol

I missread my electric one last time and got myself landed with a £800 bill for three months usage
Lukily they believed me when I phonned them up and explained haha!

they sent a reader out to my friend and the bill was sstill rong because they read the 1 flat above
