Hope some of you lovely mummies can advise me on this one.
Imogen has had a bit of a runny bum for over a week, which we put down to a combination of her having a couple of incisors coming through and having had her 12+13 month jabs making her feel a bit rubbish too.
This week she's been doing at least one really loose one a day at nursery (they seem to delight in telling us!) and on Thursday they called and asked us to take her home because she had done 3 watery ones close together and there was a lot of tummy bugs going round so we wouldn't be able to take her back for 48hrs at least.
Dom and I have both been poorly, and were off sick anyway thurs pm and yesterday. Imogen seems happy in herself but does keep doing these explosive poos. We gave her lots of milk yesterday (possibly a mistake) because she seemed really thirsty (obviously if she has runny bum) and she did some water ones and some just loose ones - not her usual little nuggets anyway.
Today I'm starting to get worried now because she's done 3 explosive HUGE nappy-fulls, don't know where it's coming from, and it's a really strange looking consistency - looks like meringue almost, sort of fluffy, only a bit yellowy.
Has anyone had any experience of this - at what point do I take her to a doctor? There's a walk-in centre in town so I could take her today or tomorrow if necessary but I'm one of these people who only likes to bother the health professionals if really necessary.
Thanks
x Em
