Chloe constantly clicks when feeding on my left breast and it's making me sore(and drives me nuts ). I take her off and re-attach she's ok for about a minute and then starts again.

I thought it was thrush as this is one of the symptoms but the doctor has said she is clear. I have had my positioning checked and it's fine so what else could it be?

If anybody has any ideas as to how I can get her to stop clicking it will be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I didn't want to read and run, but I havent got a real answer for you, but Niamh used to do this, it is really painfull! I know she grew out of it eventually, don't remember how old she was (I bf her to 9 months) I think she did it much less when I fed her laying down on the bed with her, give that a try and see how it goes.

I can only say the same as jolene, try lots of different positions to see if you can find one where it doesnt happen,

E always fed better and longer lying down, she didnt click but she used to let go of the nipple and then suck the blooming thing back in

hollie did aswell, bloody hurt. HV kept telling me re latch her on but didnt work. I use to found lying with her, she didnt do it as much.

umm same as the other ladies aim afraid, at first it was thrush and by about 4 months he had stopped (now he just has teeth instead )
