As you know things have not been good recently with work and the whole ttc rollercoaster. After increasing days and nights coming home from work in tears we decided the other day that we need to do something proactive to break the rut that I have got into.
OH works for an american company so he is exploring the possibility of a 3 month secondment to the states. I am so excited already. I mentioned it in work and surprisingly my managers couldn't have been more supportive. They will not prevent me from going as I would be taking unpaid leave. OH needs to put in an application and a business case and it will be down to finances whether or not they approve it. Then we need to think how we manage the bills with me having no salary for 3 months.
Since losing Laura last week I really have taken a long hard look at my life and I'm not happy with how it is at the minute. Life is too short to put off to tomorrow or in my case a year if not ever what I can do today. I think this will give us the chance to see if emigration is something we want to seriously consider long term.
I know you guys are probably laughing after the messing about that I did trying to pluck up the courage to go on the night out but I feel this is something that could be a huge turning point.
