i woke up during the night struggkling to breathe cos my throat had closed in and i felt shitty all day so thought i better go to see docs tonight. anyway ive been and they said its tonsilitis so ive got anti biotics. they said penicillin attacks the infection faster but im allergic to it so had to be given some other antibiotic which also has a nauseous side affect.

gavs had tonisilitis that many times he had to get them removed and i never realised how ill it makes u feel. im aching all over - even my skin it sore to touch. i feel sick, my throat is killing nad neck in swollen, i had a super headache and am soooo tired. and i feel fluey.

im gonna get myself off for an early night soon and wallow in my self pity

Awwwwwwwwww Amy I feel your pain I get it at least twice a year its awful!! Get yourself to bed and rest, I hate being ill with a little one, you don't get to lay in bed and feel sorry for yourself lol xx

Thanks ladies. Gav is really good with Alfie so i dont have to worry about him too much - i just hate being ill especially on a weekend when its meant to be our family time together.

One thing I will say, and you've probaly heard it before lol, is to take your full course of anti bs especially with tonsilitus as it comes back worse if you don't. I know sometimes I felt better after a few days so forgot about the anti bs and regretted it the week after!! xx

aww hun i hope you feel better soon , i have never experienced it before but my son went to school fine 1 morning and when i picked him up he was being carried out by 2 teachers , i did not know it could knock someone that much x x

I gotta take 4 a day morning, dinner, evening and night time. And they really do make me feel sick so i gotta lie down agfter ive taken them. Altho - it could result in a few days offf work = bonus!! x
