Went out withmy parents today to take the girls to the wetlands reserve and we took the back road out to the dual carriageway, had only been driving about 15 mins when we came round a corner to find a car accident. There was a black beemer on its roof in the middle of the road and bits of car everywhere it looked awful. There were cars in front of us just turning around and driving away so got my dad to stop and jumped out to go see if everyone was ok

Turned out only 1 person was in the car and his wife and kids were following behind in another car luckily, jusdging by the gouge in the road and a big brick nearby the unlucky guy had hit a brick in the road and flipped it, the airbags had gone off and he was already out the car. Checked him over quickly anyway and he seemed to have gotten bloody lucky just a bruised face and some seatbelt injury to shoulder and side of neck but got him sat down and waited with him til ambulance turned up anyway

The road was all shut off after that so we turned around and took another road out to the wetlands but looking back on it after am so glad it wasnt worse. Not only could it have been very nasty but im not sure id have been much help this soon after the sec if it had been a nasty one.

So all be careful out there on the roads guys xxx

Yikes..as much as I am sorry for the gentleman in the car, I cringe to think what would of happened should you guys of hit that brick. So glad everyone involved is not seriously injured. xxx

Is it true that nurses sign an oath that if they see an accident they have to stop and help or is that a myth Iv believed all these years? x

No we dont sign anything like that.

That is horrible. I would hate to turn a corner and find that. Even being a nurse, you must still find that kind of thing shocking to see.

Im so pleased he wasnt hurt badly.
