First trip abroad _
PostSubject: First trip abroad   First trip abroad EmptyTue Mar 29, 2011 7:55 am

Hi all

It's our first trip abroad with Benjamin (22 months) on Saturday. We are going to Portugal but I'm a bit worried about the water situation. I've read that they aren't supposed to have mineral water due to mineral content and also not to drink local water supply abroad.

Anybody recommend what they have done please? Should I boil some tap water and cool down for him to drink?

Thanks ladies

Ann

Sorry I'm not much help as I'm not sure. My LO is 19 months and I let him drink bottled water, granted he only has a small amount, I never knew it was wrong lol!

I think I would be inclined to boil water and then refrigerate it for him.

Hope you have a lovely holiday!! x

Thanks Shel. Just been reading about it and looks like the bottled stuff will be ok.

I'd suggest you get that for you too. Me, hubby, my sis and her bf all got really ill cause we had ice cubes in our drinks one night. Won't make that mistake again! First trip abroad 128142 Laughing
