When trying to get your little one's attention, what is their usual response?
E.G. If they are watching an engrossing tv programme and you call their name?

Mostly, Cerys responds first time but if Mr Tumble is on then I get no response xx

It depends what Wil is doing but usually he will respond almost immediately by turning round and replying with 'mum' (probably because when he shouts 'mum' I shout 'Wil'

I said straight away but thats maybe only 70-80% of the time. If she is tired or playing with another child it may take 2-3 goes. x

Yeah same here if she's watching tv she might ignore me otherwise when i shout lilly she turns and says "what"

It really depends on what she's doing. If I say her name when she's playing she'' give me some response straight away but if Peppa Pig is on she's in another world and I have to stand infront of it. Hence why we're on a Peppa Pig (and Ben and Holly) detox!

If were at home and he's engrossed in something or watching something - I usually have to say his name twice before he looks round.

But if were out in a crowded room (playgroups etc) or out shopping he responds straight away..He hears my voice and I can see him looking round straight away to see where it was coming from

Imogen will ignore me for ages before responding. She likes to do things on her own terms.

Ive picked ignore for long time then turn round as callum is a pain for this sometimes i can call him from another room and he comes other times i can call him 4-5times and he ignores me x

Same as a few of the others, normally she will turn straight away ... but if its some telly she is watching and concentrating on then she wont look - that doesn't mean she wont do what I ask.. so If I say sit on the chair she will but while still concentrating!
