well, we have done bits in the past few years (by we, i mean my mum has and we have eaten it
). she says carrots need to have really good, deep soil so that's out......
the raised(ish) beds are cleared and the soil has been umm fluffed up
so we will be planting potatos, courgettes, onions, lettuce, maybe spinach, chillis and have a go at cherry tomatos in the porch - i am told runner beans and beetroot grow well too but umm i dont wanna eat them so it would be a waste.
i think im going to get a meadow flowers/wild flower random bag for flowers then get sweet peas and lavender seperately cos i really want them
maybe we should start a gardening club for people who have no idea what they are doing and see where we are in 6 months
also i found this site for seeds http://www.seedparade.co.uk/ they seem the most reasonable - can't afford organic ones sadly. i have a little book on growing your own food too which we have been avidly reading
