can anyone recommend a highchair for a smallish baby?, everyone I try Ava in is no good , she just doesn't seem secure in them and they're all far too big , Bumbo's are a no go because she can get out of them.

I want to spend a maximum of £80

Have you tried her in one like this hun, we have this one (different colour) at work and it seems quite good for the younger ones as the little bar between the legs stops them from sliding out the bottom and the straps have two settings??

xx

This one seems to be the same sort of design, but the tray seems alot shorter and it seems quite padded xx

that looks quite good Siobhan but i'm really picky and I don't like the colours it's available in.

Mari, i've seen these, they look similar to bumbos but loke more like a low chair

If you don't like the Chicco Happy Snack chair colours then we came to the conclusion (examining them in store) that this is exactly the same chair but branded as M'care - we preferred a unisex design. The basket is useless as baby can drop crumbs into it so we removed it, but otherwise it has worked fine for us (been using it a bit over a year now - don't fold it regularly though, not sure how it would stand up to daily folding and unfolding).

This is the one we have Mari. I quite like it though maybe only suitable if baby can already sit as not much support (it only has straps between legs, we attached an extra clipasafe to it). Its very sturdy and I like the way the tray can be detached when she's older and it turns into a seperate table and seat, you can also just use the seat and tray on its own so its a low chair Laughing

We've got something very similar to this one http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_35+1240_10751_-1_14635_110951_10001_14635

Libby's used it from when she was 4 months old, and she was/is absolutely tiny for her age (she would sit in it while we ate), and even now still uses it - we've just taken the tray off and she now eats from the table Very Happy x
