It's Bethany's birthday on Sunday and one of her presents is an outside playhouse. It was delivered today from Argos and we have just gone to assemble it so it's ready for Sunday (was going to hide it in the spare bedroom) and it's broken!!!!!! There are lots of cracks on it and pieces snapped off in the box. Have just tried to ring Argos to give them down the banks and it let me go through all the different options pressing this number and that number before telling me they close at 8pm. At least they are open tomorrow at 8am, I will be on the phone first thing to try and demand a replacement is delivered tomorrow!!

That's the thing that has annoyed me the most as I was imagining her face when she saw it on Sunday morning so I'm gonna try my best to get it delivered tomorrow afternoon.

Hope you can get it delivered, it's not fair that she should have to miss out bcase of their mistake x

Oh les thats awful. If you can't get a replacement tomorrow I'd get my money back and then go toysrus or elc and get one.

we orderd a 300 quid bed and a nearly 300 quid mattress to go with it. i ordered it in nov.. on the web site said they woul get it to us in two weeks. i get a email the next day saying it would be 4 weeks due to xmas. so i was happy with that... come feb.. still no bed. they say it was out of stock! even though the website and the email said they had it.. we didnt see the bed untill april.. i was preg with paige we had to get rid of our old bed as it broke!!! i went mad.... n how do they say sorry? a crappy letter 4 months after we get the bed n a 30 quid gift card... well woopie woo..

they did this to us, we were having anew bed plus Izzys - and so she had to have the cot in hr new big girl room for ages!

they said it was due to xmas, then were out of stock, every excuse under the sun!

i absolutely detest argos, they are just guaranteed to break/lose/forget/otherwise ruin whatever you get. what they save in shoplifting they must lose in employing gorillas in their warehouses!

Get your money back and go to toys r us.

We had our wardrobes from Argos. They were expensive so expected them to be good. They were oak and the doors were totally different colours. It took 4 months for them to send us a new door x

Sounds like you ladies have had some bad experiences with Argos.
