After much deliberation, we decided to have a private growth scan today as I still look so tiny (even though im measuring perfectly) as I was curious to get an idea of how much little miss weighs..... Well even though I know that ultrasound is only a rough guide....her estimated weight is ....... 9lbs 7oz........EEEEEEEeeeeeekkkkk!!

WOW! LOL! And you could have 2-3 weeks left? Erm.... Caitlin was est to be 6lb and was 8lb 1oz. Im sure lil miss wont grow anymore.... *whispers* I though they put on half lb a week at this stage..... You'l be grand! 9-10lb babies are becoming more common. You planning on having anymore.... they tend to get bigger you know! Ok, on a serious note, scans can be out by loads and also iv heard on other forums that bigger babies can be easier to give birth to... something about they put more pressure on cervix and get things going quicker. Could also explain why 2nd babies are generally quicker and earlier as they usually bigger too. See it as a good thing! You havent bought too many newborn/0-3 month clothes have you?

Awwww, I wouldnt worry. Lily was 8lb 1/2 oz and she was much easier than giving birth to Aimee who was 7lb 4oz. I tore right to my back passage with Aimee, and only had a tiny graze with Lily. x

I wouldnt worry hun about it!! with hollie I was told after every growth scan she was lik 8lb something at 35 wks and she was goin to be 10lb plus baby. csection was an option as they worried at one point. but she was 8lb 2oz so they were wrong! and I know a ffew other ladies due the same time as me met through AB was told theirs were going to be 9lber and He was only 7lber and know loads who got it wrong. Im with the rest though, lillie was tiny and she was harder to push than Hollie.as MW kept telling me our bodies will only grow a baby that our bodies can manage you'l be fine xxx
