Husbands birthday on Monday... he has the sum total of bugger all!!!

Well, I tell a lie, we have cards and a daddy book from the little ones, I bought a photo keyring from ebay which is shite though!! Looks like photopaper v.dark and very poor quality, so much I'm tempted not to give him it Sad

I've also bought "smellies" i.e. deo & showel gel but that's a necessity, not a gift scratch

The only thing I could call a gift is a cheap mobile phone (£30) as he is using a very old one at present with two new batteries is still very poor, but begrudges paying too much for a new one. However - again - this is a necessity!!

ANY ideas on a very short notice and very small budget???

And sex tokens don't count, he wouldn't be able to cash them in for -ooo- yeaaarrrrs yet Cool Laughing

p.s. doesn't need ties/cufflinks/watches/cds/dvds/ arrrghhh it's bad enough with time to think of something but to arrive or buy before Monday I'm screwed aren't I?!

Dan is soooo hard to buy for (we both are!) cos we never NEED anything, we always get stuff we like so thats leaves jackshit for birthday!

So here are some things I have got him before

dart board(a proper one with pig skin or whatever it is)
A G shock watch
X Box games
Slippers Laughing
Pants & socks (men always seem to like them?!)
Crate of Beer Laughing
Something for his car, once I got an adaptor thing for him to play his mp3 player through... or some gadget to go in/on the car

Other ideas for manly things
A power tool ... he loves them..although I dont think Ive ever bought him one?!
A blokes toy.. remote control car/helicopter
An experience - rally driving etc (can get vouchers from Argos)

Undies and socks freshly stocked up at Christmas Rolling Eyes
Bike gadgets might be one to bear in mind for Father's Day, but after 14 years worth of birthdays and Christmasses we've pretty much covered all the bases, and some Laughing

Doesn't smoke or drink but might see if I can pick up the football magazine he used to read before babies (squished out, thanks Mari Wink ) came along and swallowed up all our time! Otherwise looks like the phone Shell... may try to bake a cake during the day on monday (pah! can barely go to the loo these days, should be fun Laughing ) Ta all xx
