I have started leaving the baby gate downstairs open and allow H to come up and down the stairs. Today I was sweeping the lounge and heard him going upstairs, finished what I was doing and followed him up. I couldn't find him, I called him, looked in every room - checked behind doors under beds and in wardrobes. I walked out onto the landing and the tumble dryer moved! I pulled open the door and there he was all curled up in the tumble dryer drum.... Luckily it was all turned off and unplugged. I pulled he out, told him off and blocked the door so he couldn't get back in - to which he had a tantrum

I have told James and am laughing now but how stupid! What if he'd turned the dial and it started - the door was shut and everything.

Needless to say the shite bag is locked back in the lounge and the gate staying permanently till he's 54!!! The tumble dryer is now going out to the shed!

It's not that long since there was a story in the papers about a kid dying because he hid inside a dryer.

I'm just glad I pretty much followed him up, had I presumed he'd gone into his bedroom to play things may be very very different!
Not that I would presume as if we go upstairs to tidy up, he heads into Lewis' room and wrecks it!!
He has to be the most adventurous/haughtiest boy I've had!!!!!!

Harry scares me with our dryer cos he seems obsessed with trying to get in but I catch him everytime!! Its always unplugged, I prefer to use the washing line, but he still scares me when he tries to get in

Little monkey! it must have been hard getting the door to shut from the inside. They certainly know how to keep us on our toes!

Omg that's a bit worrying. Ours in the utilty room and ellie always in there mucking about. Think I'll have to remeber to keep it switched off at the wall.

We also leave our stair gate open!

This is something that always worries me when Thomas goes to my mums. He is obsessed with the washer and drier and always messing about with the buttons and sticking his head in etc. Tbh I don't think he would be brave enough to climb inside - he's a bit of a wimp with stuff like that bless him (Hannah is a whole different kettle of fish though ) Luckily our washer and drier are outside in the utility room that they cant get to without me but my mum's aren't

I am shocked he fitted in, the drum appears tiny! its an old one with a vented door, so he used the inside vent to pull door closed also meaning he would breath ok not suffocate thankfully!

Little shit bag, I've had to loose dryer as I have no where to put it. The washing machine is as yet undiscovered. I often find cars or baking trays in there

Alice is always trying to climb in her nanans washer (never ours strangely) and i panic about that and thats without shutting the door
