My nan died 6 years ago, before she died (obviously emma duh) she had a cockatiel which she taught to talk. he's so funny, she got him saying all sorts and freakily sounded JUST like my nan!! you wouldnt know if it was her saying it or him.
So my mum and dad have one also (which is mine from a kid, should be in the guiness book of records him, should be dead by now im sure, sure not ment to live this long! had him for years!!) so when nan died we had hers to keep mine company.
When she died her never spoke again, we tried and tried nope not a word!! he's whistled the phone once or twice but never spoke!
SO today now, over there this afternoon, Lillie goes over to them as she does and tries to feed them the empty seeds off the floor lol Im sat in the other room with my dad having a cuppa.......... all we hear is my NAN saying 'wheres Emma?' 'what you doing?' I nearly spat my tea out! and my dad we both were like huh? went into the other room, and casper was jabbering away 'wheres nick' (my dads name) 'what you doing' 'what the matter with you?' and he was laughing just like her aswell! soooooo freaky as it sounds exactly like my nan.
How werid he's decided to start talking to lillie, my dad tired again then but nope wouldnt talk again. soooooooooooooo freaky to hear my nans voice. but was so nice too
I did have a little cry
Dave huh hum... he speaks about once a year.... but only to my brother who never ever goes to my parents, only on mothers fathers days and christmas
