Have just read about that poor 4 week old baby that was abused and raped. I feel sick I'm not a parent yet but want to rip the sick bar stewards limb from limb. I hope the little one survives x

i cant believe that anyone could be so sick twisted and evil, they wont beable to keep their identity secret forever and i really hope they get whats coming to them, they deserve torturing!!!! x

omg is that what they've done! thats just made me feel really ill!! i heard on the radio about a 4 week old being admitted 2 hosp but it didnt say wat 4! would never have thought it cud have been rape! that is disgustin! they dont even deserve to die..they shud be punished the rest of there lives!!!

The Sun reports ' A 46-year-old man was under arrest last night on suspicion of rape and grievous bodily harm. A woman was also in custody.'

So the BBC say 2 people were released on bail age 35 & 33, but the Sun says a 46 yr old man is still under arrest

Its all a bit vague and the Sun do have a habit of sensationalising stories ... other papers like the Daily mail have said '.... according to the Sun.'

It just very odd that this happened on Thursday but it isnt all over the news with more facts .. I have a feeling the Sun have made it sound worse!

Definitely agree with Lisa, the sun had said it...'Raped'. and don't those ' ' things mean apparently? also, somewhere else reported that all efforts have been concentrated on the well being of the chld, and no tests or procedures have been carried out yet. Also, if someone was suspected of any of those crimes, they would not be let out on bail!

The police have also moaned about speculation over what has happened .. they say social media sites...but lets face it people only talk because of what the Sun has reported!

Yeah, someone on my facebook even named the couple thought to be involved!!! I think its VERY odd that the couple were released on bail, just for the sheer fact, that even if they did nothing, once pwople found out they'd be rounf there like anything!

Well from what I have read the couple that were released live in a different house to the older guy that apparently did it ... but who knows!

BUT people have been at both houses...mobs of angry folk!

Why have there been no new update on the creditable news? It it to grim to report? If someone really has dont these terrible things... well, there is no punishment wicked enough for them.

Im assuming the poor little baby is so badly injured that the only thing they can do for now is try to help him...and that there is no way they can investigate what caused his injuries until he is a little bit better?

Although if he was raped that is just digusting ... but to be perfectly honest whoever injured him like that deserves just the same punishment whether that part is true or not, cos in my opinion battering a child in any way has crossed the line and deserves serious punishment .. I find it very hard not to say they deserve death to be honest
