Potty training/ OCD _

We have started :-) I know Ellie is ready and she has amazing bladder control but we do have a few problems. She will only wear purple knickers, which is a pain because she only has two pairs. If I try to put any if her others in she goes mad and demands a nappy.

Sometimes I think I should just give up and go back to nappies, but I don't want to because I know she knows when she wants to as she's marvellous in doors when I leave her bottomless.

This kid of mine real OCD issues - can toddlers really suffer from OCD? It's not just the purple knickers there are loads of other things such as

Must sleep with giraffe and teddy

Gets really stressed if giggle piggle and certain teddy are separated.

Must ring our door bell and hold on to door knob as door is opened

Loads of other daft things too.

Thomas has a fair few of those type of things hun, same with the door thing and certain teddies have to be in certain places etc.

When I was potty training him he would only wear postman pat pants! Potty training/ OCD 517725 wasn't too bad because he had 5 pairs but then he refused to wear the yellow ones and the red ones so 3 pairs Rolling Eyes. Can you get a purple clothes dye and dye all her pants the same colour make life a little easier for now. You will probably find that once she gets completely comfortable with the whole process she will be more relaxed about what she wears etc.

Sounds like it wont take her long hun - good luck!

xx
