Im going to watch this, im very undecided about Breast Feeding, I want to be able to do it, but at the same time im worried that I wont feel like its natural when I go to put her on the boob for the first time if you get what I mean? xx

^ i felt really weird the first time...but over that first night i just couldn't imagine having something so weird and synthetic as a bottle and putting into this little baby's mouth. i did have to have several stern talks with myself over the next few weeks though siobhan! you just have to remind yourself that it's the most natural thing you can do - and do your best

I found it felt natural straight away. I think the best thing is to try but not to beat yourself up if you don't want to. As much as it has been hard work with Jamie I wouldn't have it any other way

put it on a reminder to switch over at 9 and dear OH said oh uve got something on reminder i was gonna watch the second part of my smugglers thing humpoh may as well do the washing up and go 2 bed

seriously i would donate for the prem baby ward, didn't know there was such a thing as a milk bank

i read about one in a waiting room somewhere, don't know how you go about donating though - are you still producing milk pinky?!

(btw i am still a little unnerved about the 5 year old screeching 'boobies' and now i am scared elijah will end up like that cos i won't have the heart to stop)

Was it good? I've recorded it. After my fix of Holby, OH couldn't stick any more "clinical" viewing so we watched that crappy thing about the women's taxi drivers instead.

I always thought BF would be freaky but by the time I gave birth my boobs (and every other part of my body) had well and truly stopped being sexual items for waving in OH's face, and become all about being a mummy.

BF is hard work and takes determination, but if I had chosen to bottle feed, I'm sure it wouldn't have been a walk in the park either. (Having said that my sister is bottle feeding and so far it does seem to be being a walk in the park for her!)

oooh but who could be arsed getting up and making a bottle when you could just have a snuggle (once the sore nipples are over that is haha)

yep mari still a lot of milk and its been 4 months, i assumed it would dry up quickly but hv said it's normal.

that's crazy, get pumping then
