I was 99% sure that I wasnt going to return to work after having Lily. We could manage if I didnt go back, but the more I think about it, I think I should go back.

I have a job where I work 8.30am to 11.30am, get paid a very good salary and get 6 weeks holiday, all bank holidays and 2 weeks off at Xmas.

I think I would be a fool to walk away from it as when the girls are at school I will be so thankful for a job like that.

Also, it will make a difference between managing and being fairly well off, so I would be mental to give it up.

So... im going back (I think)

I gave up with after Lillie and at the time was the best decision but now with the 2... I dying to go back haha

no sounds like a fab job to work those hours and get the pay too. I think its a good decision.... BUT if you dont go back il have it! x

Haha Emma... there are two downsides to my job...

My boss, who is the head of office, is an arse, and the second is that I dont get one with one of the women there. She is a backstabber and I find it hard to bite my tongue, but im her boss, so I have to. She despises the fact that I am her boss and only work 3 hours a day.

With hours and holidays like that you might as well go back.

A little bit of extra money and something just for you will be a life saver at some point.

I swear working is easier than being a SAHM anyway even if some of the people you work with have the maturity of your toddler.

I think you are making the right decision, the hours are perfect.

Its also a good time to be going back, you can enjoy the summer and then you're only back a few weeks before being off for xmas again. x

if i was u id def be going back aswell its only a few hours a day like u say its keeping ur hand in work for when the girls go to school!i only work a few hours in the morning aswell and get decent pay and holidays and i love it! its great i get up early go to work am home by 12.30 and have the rest of the day with evan! im glad u have made ur mind up (kinda lol)

Can you adjust your hours to incorporate school run obvs not just yet but wont be long (our school nursery is exactly them hours!)

Your job sounds perfect! You can always try it out for a bit to see if it fits in with both girls x
