Well evan got his 2 yr check today by the health visitor and she has deicded to send him to speech therapy since he only says bout 7 words and even then its not often! she said they normally dont do a referral until the kids r bout 2 n half cos they like to wait n see if the speech comes but when she assessed all his other stuff she decided she wanted him referred now because he was well ahead for his age at everything else and she wants his speech checked sooner rather than later! he did brilliantly at stacking the blocks she gave him and pointing to things and he was showing her our dog and the garden - she was really surprised at how well and easy he made it for ppl to understand him even though he didnt say a word jst made noises lol!! which he does do! i never have to question what he wants but id rather he said it then showed me ithis height and weight is great he is jst below the 98th centile for his height at 3ft which i knew and he is jst above the 50th centile for his weight at 14kilos!so proud of him doing so well and doing everything she asked and the whole time she was in he sat and listened i jst hope the speech therapy brings on his speech!!

H has got his 2yr check tomm. We were a bit worried about his speech but the last couple of weeks he has started to say more things or tries to, his pronunciation isn't great so we will see what she says x
