Just been to the MW for my 41 week check up, I declined the offer of a 2nd Stretch and Sweep after having reduced fetal movements after my one last week and the way I was treated when I went to the Delivery Suite to be monitored.

So she said to me right well we will get you booked in for induction.....great!

So she phones the Delivery Suite to book me in for induction at the very latest next Thursday which would be the 5th May and they are ''FULLY BOOKED'' until the 9th May FFS!

So im written in the book for the 9th May (18....Yes 18 days overdue) and will be brought forward if they have a space earlier.

I am absolutely livid.....18 days overdue arrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

OMG shev, lets hope that strecth and sweep works, looks like hubby might be getting some action to get things moving

ugh thats terrible - but at least with the unpredictable nature of labour there's more than likely going to be a space earlier, plus little one is already on her way if you were dilating last week try not to worry too much.....in the long term it's just a couple of weeks of a life-long relationship x

I know, thats what I said to Matt....and like my Dad says they haven't got ''space'' but yet if I go into labour naturally they will have to have space! xx

Oh hunny I don't think you'll go that long! You're gonna have to get this little missy out yourself, loads of sex, hot curries and fresh pine apple. Get your trainers on and go for a good walk!

aw that sucks, but you wont go that long i'm sure baby will arrive before then (btw on my last pregnancy my sweep didn't work but 3 days later we had sex and it did start things off so hope your trying that lol)

I really didnt think they could leave you that long. Id be demanding traces/scans everyday after 14 days to check fluid/movements - generally be a pain to them!
Like everyone said, get making out, eating curries/pineapple and going for walks. This lil woman better make an appearance for her poor mummy soon! x

Thats what im going to do Snoops, she said I will most likely be pulled in earlier than that but there is a possibility of having to go the extra over, so for every day im overdue more than 14 days im going to demand to be scanned or monitored. xx

aww no thats pretty poo but youll prob find you;ll go into nautral labour by then. i got booked in, n i went into natural labour in the end. have lots of nookie lol x

I was told u had to be induced afetr being 14days late and have to go see the hv every day untill the induction.
I would be moaning cant believe there leaving you that long hopefully she will come by then xx

OMG !! come on baby, get a move on !!!! Apparently the sperm helps to thin the cervix and get things going so you're just going to have to have a few quickie's xx

A good aul tweak of the nipples brings on contractions...worked for me...oh n lots of sex n she'll be well here before 18days od

That's awful, 18days! In sussex they don't seem to let you even get to 14days, i was booked for an induction at 10days late, i didn't get that far though. I hope you don't get that far either. xx

Oh no you poor thing! Hopefully the anger you're feeling will kind of propel the baby out for you! Hope it all happens soon for you though, 18 days is mental!

Well ive just realised there is another hospital I could opt to go to and there is a chance I could get booked in sooner there so im going to ring tomorrow and speak to the MW in charge tomorrow and tell her that im not happy about being left 18 days and can I go to the other hospital instead. xx
