| can back pain start on one side for labour, i have a slight disc issue, where one sticks out.
but at the moment its taking my breath away, but its mid back, not lower back, i'm just wondering if its the water infection, as its around my kidneys or if bubs as decided todays the day
any advice would be lovely thanks |

Is the pain constant or coming and going? I laboured in my back right through with Thomas and can't really say I had any pain in the front until right at the end so it could be the start of things hun. Sorry I'm not much use but keep trying the delivery suite and keep us updated xx |

its constant at the moment, so i'm going to have something to eat, and then bath, and see
bubs is on the move down too, always said it would be royal wedding day, just waited for me to see the wedding, good baby lol |

| When mine started it was lower back too - but more like a constant ache that got progressively worse. I would have thought a UTI would cause lower back pain too rather than mid back pain I would recommend a hot bath though and see if that eases it. I hope your bubby come soon. x x x |

| I had back labour, though I was induced with pessary so dont know if its quite the same as natural labour starting.
I had a constant dull but very painful ache in my lower back that got worse and after a few hrs was radiating now the fronts of my thighs. Its miserable feeling. A hot bath works wonders but.
Fingers crossed this is the start of it for you xxx |

| well the bath was lovely, and now i'm lying on the bed, think i might have a snooze as the pain is now a niggle, we might go for a walk around the shop to get some chocolate in a bit, see if that helps
but thanks for the advice, will keep you updated, no news means its all stopped and i'm resting, so if you dont hear dont worry, i know some of you do when us ladies are near the end |

| well i went to bed and then 30mins later was crying in pain, as bubs decided to move down further, i had to do breathiing techniques because it was that painful and crush russ's hand.
but after 10-15 mins it all went and bubs was fine again, so i take it i'm 4/5 engaged now.
i'm going to just use this to update peeps as i dont want to keep starting new posts, unless i'm off too delivery.
but slow labour is the word and i can see i'm going to be a while yet, but on a plus side its another step towards bubs being here |
