| i will probably keep using a baby monitor til elijah is much bigger (like old enough to shout and say if something is wrong cos i cant really hear his crying from another room), he is in a cotbed now and has been since his crib - it's going onto its lowest setting soon as eli is getting too tall and im scared he will pull himself over the side i dont think he will be in a bed for a good few months though |

And she is still in a cot bed but as a cot Jaiden didnt go in to a big bed till about 4 months b4 Sophia was born so he would have been at least 2 wouldnt even think of putting Sophia in a big bed yet but when number 3 is on the horizon gonna have to rethink that 1 but she will b almost 2 (and hopefully walking by then) |

| We still use a baby monitor now. Ollie has been in his cotbed with the side off for a couple of months now. It's completely up to you though, only you know if Noah is ready for a bed and only you know if you are ready not to have a baby monitor anymore x |

| oh that's a good idea lita - i dunno why we didn't think of it yeah! i think 1 is a bit early!! personally anyway. i would definitely consider having it on lowest setting and one side off when elijah is walking more steadily though - we have just put the side back on after having it attached to our bed for a few months (long story) so i think that's a really good idea x |

| I still use a baby monitor for her day nap as our house is quite big so no way I could hear her downstairs, but I dont at night as she is in the next bedroom!
Izzy moved at Christmas so she was 21/22 months. She absolutely LOVES her bed, loves getting in, bouncing, playing on it....best thing ever to get her a bed!
There is certainly no need to put them in at one...of course some people do cos they need to for real reasons like climbing out or need the cot for a baby lol. I moved Izzy because her room was tiny, so she went in a big bedroom and so had a proper bed. I think I got the timing just right as she didn't have a problem at all climbing in, hardly ever falls out (and when she does she gets back in and goes back to sleep) and she still sleeps a good 12 hour stretch at least!

| we still use a baby monitor and will do until, like Mari said, Cerys can shout if something's wrong. She is still in a cotbed with the sides up. Im reluctant to take the sides off yet because she moves about soooo much at night, I fear she would fall out. Plus, she is so nosey, I know that as I soon as she was put to bed with no sides, she would be rummaging round her bedroom drawers etc |

| Arwyn only went into her cotbed at 7 months and we had to lower it to the lowest setting at 9 months. I'm in no rush to get her into the bed bit, 1 seems far too young to me! We have never used a monitor (though we do have one) 1) She sleeps in the same room as us and 2) she's so fricking loud it's impossible to not hear her! |

| monitor, I think went just after a year, because it broke..... but quite glad as it actually showed us we were ready to be without it. We have a mucho tennsy weensy house so we can hear her from all over and she will cry or shout for mummy if she needs us.
Cot to cot bed, she is still in cotbed and still not attempting or anywhere near able to to climb out so she can stay put for the mo. She does move about quite a bit still too so she probs would fall out but when i do hit that hurdle am gonna buy a big long plush toy to put beside her bed so if she does fall she has a soft landing!
Am tempted to change it over soon though as i think she will really enjoy it and it will make it even easier to give her a hug and settle her when i need to at night. But when i do, will need to put up stair gate at her door as we have no gates anywhere in the house and dont want her creeping down the stairs half asleep and having a fall.

| we still use a monitor as would never hear Tyler - especially in the summer when we have air con and/or fans on! he's still in a cotbed with the sides up but I'm hoping to get him into a big boy bed before this new baby needs to go in his cot but fi it wasn't for practical reasons I wouldn't be bothered about moving him out. |

| Well we stopped using a monitor with Libby when she was about 13 months old but by then it was only if we were out in the garden when she was in bed etc. We have been putting Dexter to bed in our bedroom though and the monitor is all set up in his bedroom so we havent been using one , but in my defense we live in a bangalow and can hear him if he starts crying and I do check him regularly. As for the big bed, we put Libby in hers when she was 18 months old, no other reason other than we'd had it sitting there in its box for months and was desparate to see it up , luckily she took to it brilliantly. xx |

| We still use the monitor as we live in quite a big old house and can't really hear him if especially if we're in the kitchen. We only use it for naps or when he's in bed and we're downstairs, as soon as I go to bed the monitor goes off as his rooms right next door to ours.
We moved Oliver into a big bed when he was 18mth as he was just too big for his cot and it was becoming a danger to him (getting limbs caught etc) |

| I still use the monitor as Amelia is quiet and rarely ever shouts or crys to get up. She's still in her cot too as she has never tried to climb out of it. She sleeps in a big bed at Dave's and MILS but at home I'm waiting as she's such an amazing sleeper I'm taking all I can get! |
