we are all rubbish mummys who either forget our childrens names/birthdays/ages and occasionally drop our children/dont catch them in time/take our eye off them for half a second

Ive dropped Cerys, when she was struggling out of my arms, she did a ninja jump and I caught her at the last second before hitting the floor by the back of her sleepsuit We are not perfect and no-one should expect us to be. We cant wrap them in cotton wool either, they wouldnt learn anything unless they have the odd bump or fall xx

We flew home with Tayla when she was 4 months old, he had her on his lap on the plane and the seatbelts clip together...well he was uncomfortable and unclipped her seat beat (i didnt know he had) she was asleep so i fell asleep and he was 'watching a film' but he must of fell asleep and i woke up to really loud crying, looked at lukes lap and she wasnt there I had a heart attack....he had bloody dropped her an she was under our seats She was fine thank god, Luke was almost in tears and so was I!

OMG!! How scary for you!! This is something only a man can do surely???

My OH popped Abbie over the little picket fence at a park the other week, so he didn't have to walk right round to the gate......right next to all 6 swings that were being used!!!!

He defo a man thing! He alway used to fall asleep when Tayla was a newborn! No matter how tired i wa id never of just nodded of while she was in my care/on my lap! Plonker! Can laugh at in now but was scary at the time and so embarrassing!

oh sh*t thats so scary!!! glad she was fine though - i think daddys dont always have a built in wake up/stay awake alarm like mummys do, although john wakes up as much as me to elijah now
