Tyler was given antibiotics on Tuesday for an ear/throat infection. He has seemed fine since and has still been going to nursery but today when I was leaving nursery he fell straight asleep in the car (thts normal) woke up at home for abut 10 mins, went back to bed for about 2 hours, woke up and then fell asleep on me in the lounge for another hour and a half... Ive just put him into bed and he's fast asleep.

I sat him up and tried to wake him but he was fast asleep.

Is this ok? Hes never been this sleepy before and I'm not sure what to do with him?

it could be the virus coming out his system, or could be reaction to the antibs mmmm
i'd probably keep an eye on him and if he gets worse take him to docs just to check he not having a reactioin to his meds

as he had these antib's before

yeah he's had them a few timmes (he gets ear infections quite a lot) probably his 4th or 5th time having them.

I know they say if your baby is lethargic and hard to wake to see doc etc but he is ill and on antibiotics but he wouldn't even open his eyes properly :/

give them a call hun and just ask what to do, it might put your mind at rest

Jade i know a really 'cool' doctor you could always ring and ask. Let me know if u want his number. Taylas never been that poorly, when shes poorly shes quieter but still never sits still

oh i would speak to a doctor tonight as he sounds really poorly, he might be a bit dehydrated?

do you know what... about 20 minutes after I posted this he woke up and was fine!!!

But honestly he was soooooo tired when I tried to wake him I could just see the bottom whites of his eyes as he didn't want to open them anymore I was really worried... but he's been running round like normal!

Yep Savvas hes well cool! I used to ring him a lot and ask for advise as our paediatrician was shite.
He is on fb and goes to all the workers partiesand never charges 'friends' just puts down your a tourist and have travel insurance. Really good helpful doctor tho
