Has anyone seen this on the news? I think its only Battersea at the moment but they're charging £2.50 to use it. Surely thats what your council tax is for.

I think it's wrong, I'm sure councils are meant to provide a certain amount of playing fields and parks.

It annoys me when I have to pay to use carparks at parks.

I saw this on news this morn, WTF?!?!

soooo... we are all too fat, kids use computers too much, everyones feeling the pinch....

so tell you what we'll charge for kids to go to the park!! madness!!

and they were saying personal trainers may need a licence (which they have to pay for) to train people in public places like parks?!?! seriously what is wrong with this country!?!

thats terrible No Council Tax revenue only pays for refuse, police and schools. All the other money comes from the government in their yearly budget. I think its disgusting charging for kids to go out and play freely when (in our area) they erect stupid statues/ monuments in local towns that nobody wants !!! Evil or Very Mad
