how much input does your oh have into your appearance???

would you avoid certain clothes because you know they don't like them, or get your hair cut a certain way that they prefer?

or are you more likely to do your own thing and let him get on with it??

I pretty much do my own thing. If he told me he really hated an outfit I'd make him give me a valid reason (it made me look fat, stupid etc) before i stopped wearing it. He doesn't really care how my hair looks, so it's never come up. But i think again i'd need a valid reason before I changed it to please him.

errm, I kind of just dress and present myself as i want.

However if I was out to impress him or something then i might dress a certain way.

But realyl we are quite happy with each other as we are, hairy warts and all! (PS, the hairy warts bit, not really!!!! LOL)

My OH doesn't really have much input to my appearance. He has said he likes it when I have my hair long, blonde and likes it tied back in a pony-tail..but thats about it. He comments when i'm wearing something he likes, but has never said 'urgh, I'm not a fan of that outfit' (cos he knows i'd whup his arse Evil or Very Mad Laughing )
But he say's I 'look gorgeous what ever I wear!' lol...creep Rolling Eyes Laughing

Sometimes I might ask him his opinion between 2 outfits..1st he'll say 'either' then he'll attempt to pick one..but that just makes me realise that I was actually leaning more towards the other outfit..to which he reply's 'why ask then?! Rolling Eyes But sometimes I just need confirmation lol

Don't get me wrong I'm by no means a little woman who does what I'm told but I do like to please my oh with the way I look and behave. He does like the fact that I have balls and if there's an argument to be settled he'll always send me.

But I do do things to please him! When he's at work I wear jeans and trainers and am usually a scruff (my natural mumsy self as I do loads of walking so trainers are my best option) but I do take them off and out heels or boots on for when he gets in. And I always shave legs, pits, bits every day and always wear make up. Iwouldn't be happy if I was a minger. Maybe I'm not as confident as i like to think?! Maybe I need therapy?

Hehe, when I had ellie by emergency c section at 6am by 11am I had reached for my bag and applied eyeliner, mascara, and lip balm before he came back to see me! Maybe your thinking he's an arse but he isn't he's lovely it's just me and the way I am Smile

it actually just sounds like you do those things to please yourself and its a happy coincidence that it pleases him too Laughing

i used to be the same, wouldn't dream of going out without makeup, smooth legs, matching bra and pants etc but these days i barely drag a brush through my hair and constantly look like sh*t Neutral if i was going to change though it would probably be for me b

Simon has never liked make up (thankfully, I wouldnt know how to put it on Laughing ) and prefers to see me in jeans & trainers (again, thankfully!) but it can get annoying if I ever wanted to get a bit dressed up because he'd say it didn't suit me or I looked better in jeans.

So basically I live in jeans and trainers and only wear mascara and he's happy with that - but if he wasn't tough shite! Very Happy xx

I always ask his opinion about hair cuts/hair colour/make up/clothes, but if it's not what I wanted to hear I do what I want Laughing
