right....a couple months back my dr took me off microgynon because i was getting increased migraines...she put me on cerazette...first month period came on time....

second month it was a week late and i got it on 17th april....about 5days after af finished i had another bleed, this lasted as long as af so at the end of the pack i stopped taking it

well going by af starting on 17th april i am 2days late...but if i go by the second bleed i'm not due for nearly 2weeks....

which would you go by? assume i'm late and possibly pg, or assume it's going to come in the next couple of weeks?

i'm not getting my hopes up that i'm pg or anything and definitely don't plan to test, i'm just obsessive and hate waiting for it to come and curious what you girls think....anyone else had the same thing before?

Id prob go by second bleed, though tbh I dont think bleeds on mini pills give you an indication of where you are in your cycle.

I was on cerazette since having Caitlin in July 2009 and it stopped my periods almost completely. I would have gotten break through bleeds of a few days but this was usually if I had forgot to take it or was on anti b's/ill etc, I could go months without AF.

I came off cerazette Dec/Jan there to ttc and didnt get AF until 8th March, then got pg 1st cycle so still not really certain how far I am as not sure how long my cycles are iykwim (though I did test early so at the very least I am 9 weeks not 10).

I guess what im saying is dont be surprised if you dont get AF for weeks/months. In saying that I was on it for 18months so maybe there was more in my system and thats why my AF stayed away for so long. Hope you get the result you want hun xxx

I agree with snoopy as cerazette is only progesterone it doesn't make your ovaries behave in a natural way and Af's can be all over the place with beakthrough bleeding irregular preiods or none at all. When I came off the pill the first time I didn't have an aF for months, and this time I had one every 2-3 weeks until I fell pg 2 months later.

I would go by the second one too x

thats the one im on and its nightmere city i wont have af for 6 months then she comes stays 2 weeks then buggers off but can come back again it does my head in x

i would go by 2nd bleed but with cerazette its so unpredictable i have pg scares at least 3 times a year

i'd go by 2nd bleed too hun, sil was on this and she just basically bled all the time, and was in a vile mood, but then she is with all pills.

I was taken off Microgynon for headaches... my dr said he'd rather treat an unwanted pregnancy than a brain tumour... I thanked him and left

After stopping the pill I think you can get a delay.. I'd say any day between the two. Sorry not much help

i was thinking to go by the 2nd too...yet can't stop secretly wishing i was 'late' and pg! lol
